Checklist – items to bring along upon check in
1) Official Receipt for full settlement of deposit & 6 months advance rental.
Note : Kindly obtain your original receipt from the payment counter on campus.
2) Sufficient personal belongings to ensure your own comfort. A new bedding set will be provided by us (inclusive of bedsheet, mattress protector, quilt & quilt cover, pillow & pillow case).
3) Please present this letter at our Helpdesk for assistance upon arrival for check-in.
Important Notes
1) Full payment of all amounts due (deposit & 6 months advance rental) is a requirement before check-in.
2) If you fail to remit the deposit payment of RM2,500.00 within seven (7) days from the date hereof, the room booked shall be cancelled and released immediately.
3) Rooms are allocated based on availability. Should the room type chosen by you is not available, we shall allocate the next available room type for you.
4) If you choose NOT to check-in on the above dates, kindly inform us your actual check-in date to facilitate preparation of room prior to your arrival.
5) Failure to check-in after the programme commencement date will result in forfeiture of all payments made and immediate release of room booked without further notice to you.

Mr. Chia from the International Office will be picking you at the airport at approximately 22.10pm. The journey from Taylor’s University to KLIA takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes, subject to traffic condition.
Please be informed that the Taylor's students are allowed to perform their own immigration clearance and they must bring the following documents for Immigration Clearance purposes. The documents are:
I) A copy of Visa Approval Letter (scanned/photocopy/original copy is acceptable; please always make an additional copy for the Immigration Officer),
II) A copy of Letter of Acceptance (scanned/photocopy/original copy is acceptable; please always make an additional copy for the Immigration Officer),
III) Original passport for verification,
IV) One way ticket is acceptable (provided student has the Visa Approval Letter and Single Entry Visa). Should you have any difficulties during the immigration clearance, please contact Mr. Chia at +0167255234.
Mr. Chia will be waiting for you at the Old Town Coffee (outside of Arrival Hall). Please purchase a local phone sim card from the airport and call Mr. Chia if you cannot locate him.

There are 4 documents we need in order to do the certification during reporting for NEW student. The documents are:
1) ORIGINAL RESULTS (which student must bring with them & they should have a copy)
2) ORIGINAL PASSPORT
3) LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE
4) COPY OF VISA APPROVAL LETTER
Please be noted that reporting cannot be completely processed without above mentioned documents.

On behalf of Taylor’s, I apologise for what has transpired, and I’m terribly sorry for Jung’s ordeal on his first day of arrival.
I will personally look into the matters with U-Res once again.
I have also copied Leonard and his team in this email so he’s aware of Jung’s reporting today. I trust that he will be in good hands from now on.
