HELP에서 반가운 소식 하나가 들려 왔네요.

얼마전 HELP에서 진행된 Essay 쓰기 대회에서 한국인 학생이 수상 했다는 메일을 받았어요.

아래와 같이 정보를 첨부해 드리니 참고 하시기를 부탁드려요.

앞으로 점점더 좋은 결과들을 저에게 전해 주실 테지만 이렇게 잘 하고 있는 분들이 계시니

The English Immersion Program  held an English essay writing competition for our international students in July 2007. We had about 20 participants across the board. The main purpose of this competition was to encourage and motivate our students to read and write in English. The competition was divided into two categories: category A comprised of  Levels 2 and 3 students, while category B comprised of  levels 4 and 5 students. We had three winners in each category .
Prizes, in the form of vouchers from MPH bookstore, non-fiction books and classical instrumental CDs,  were sponsored by HELPUniversity College and U-text books Sdn Bhd.

HELP의 English Immersion Program 은 지난 2007년 07월에 외국 학생들을 위한 영어 에세이 쓰기 대회를 주최했다. 이번 대회에서는 국적을 가리지 않고 20명의 학생들이 참가 했다. 이번 대회의 주된 목표는 학생들로 하여금 영어의 쓰기와 읽기에 동기부여와 이를 장여하는데 있었다. 이번 대회는 2개의 부문(Categories)으로 나누어졌는데, Category A는 HELP 영어 과정의 Level 2와 3 과정을 듣는 학생들로, Category B는 Level 4와 5를 듣는 학생들로 구성되었다. 이번 대회에서는 부문별로 3명의 수상자를 뽑았으며 상품으로는 HELP와 U-text Books 에서 지원된 상품권, 소설책, CD가 수여 되었다.

수상자 명단을 보니 중국인, 일본인, 인도인 등 다양한 학생 구성이 보이네요.
